DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

1.Budgeting & Planning

  • Work closely with functions to process budget cycle.
  • Validate budget assumptions to support a robust plan.
  • Cascade down the budget to BU daily implementation through resources allocation.
  • Deliver updated budget through planning cycle timely and accurately
  • Monitor budget assumptions against actual costs
  • Quality plan which can be executed/tracked and can drive performances

2.Analyzing & Reporting

  • Supervise the closing and reporting for BU on monthly basis
  • Work with central team to continually drive and improve efficiency and optimize the process;
  • Build BU internal finance governance process and policy
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with finance teams across the company, ensure the finance support, dealing with conflict and ambiguity matter;
  • Manage other cross function projects
  • Other ad-hoc finance analysis, report on the financial implications of business/strategic decisions.

3.Decision support & performance improvement

  • Engage with business leaders and provide specific analysis( including risk assessment) to support the decision making
  • Identify and address procedural problems/deficiencies impacting financial/scorecard KPI;
  • Risk oversight by tracking all related expense and sales report, maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant drivers and trends, and explain/report/spot/alter the risk to business and senior management team at timely manner, ensure P&L deliverable;

JOB REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Job requirements

  • Academic / Professional qualification
    • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or related)
  • Technical / skill training
    • CICPA or ACCA
    • MBA (preferred)

   Essential       

  • Accounting/reporting/analyzing experience
  • At least 5+ years in budgeting & planning field
  • Pharma / Medical industry experience

    Desirable    

  • Audit firm experience

  • Language ability
    • Mandarin
    • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy
    • Experts in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Power BI)
    • Experienced SAP / ERP/ Hyperion/Concur use
  • Others
    • Strong cross function communication skill and work independently
    • Strong business sense, can quickly identify stakeholders’ need and address it
    • Pleasant personality and able to work with BU/ function member
    • Good project management skill
