Work in support of the Deal Finance Directors to work on all stages of the deal process – from initial negotiations to due diligence, contract closure and post-deal integration
Build complex, consistent and accurate transaction valuation models.
Providing high-quality financial analysis and advice
Prepare and coordinate formal post-transaction accounting & tax memorandum for internal and external governance
REQUIREMENTS
Essential requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or related)
Strong academic background, preferably including accounting/finance qualification (CIMA, ACA, CFA, MBA or equivalent).
Experience in financial evaluation techniques and financial modelling.
Good understanding of cash vs. profit
Strong understanding of value based cashflow metrics and their relevance in business evaluation
Analytical thinking, and ability to collate and analyze relevant data to identify key drivers of value and risk
At least more than 5 years’ experience of working in an investment bank/accounting firm with solid valuation capability, with previous experience related to the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to communicate financial recommendations to financial/non-financial senior leaders and other stakeholders in a way that is impactful and understandable
Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment and able to effectively manage multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, communicate proactively
Fluent written and spoken English & Mandarin
Experts in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power point)
Desirable requirements
Confident and clear presenter, who can communicate financial and strategic recommendations in a concise and impactful manner.
Tax structuring as it relates to deals in a multinational company
Working knowledge of deal accounting
Keen interest in business development and the wider pharmaceutical industry
