In this role, you will be responsible to lead and drive the internal and external collaborations to deliver and to accelerate development of 0-to-1 novel DHT based solutions. In addition, leverage your rich clinical development know-how and experience, you will also serve as subject SME and function as a key member of multidisciplinary fusion team, working closely with AI engineers and technology partners, to develop quality and fit-for-purpose Agentic solutions that can make daily work smarter and faster.
Major responsibilities
- Be an agile and transformative leader
- Understand organization strategic goals and TA strategy priorities, working with TA heads and/or China disease and compound clinical leads and TA strategy leads
- Provide oversight and leadership for DH solution leads in translating org and TA strategy into DH opportunities and priorities
- Accountable for effective and efficient communications with key stake holders and collaborators on why/how/what for DH priorities identified
- Guide and support DH leads to deliver DH priorities working with study team and/or project teams, including risk identification and mitigation and issue management
- Guide and support DH leads and team in the collaborations with external technology providers and partners
- Accountable for effective business processes and quality assurance procedures
- Support establishment of AZ DH leadership in China
- Create a stimulating, inspiring and rewarding culture in project teams. Develop and coach growth for junior colleagues.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Advanced degree in science related majors, Ph.D preferred
- Seasoned drug developer with track records as a scientific leader in clinical development, digital health or medical device related areas
- Strong strategic thinking & excellent learning agility
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills in cross-functional settings with proven track records
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve aligned objectives in cross-functional settings with proven track records.
- Effective problem and conflict resolution skills and proven team focus. Able to manage ambiguity with high resilience
- Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context is a strong plus
