The media environment is ever-changing and complicated, and media team has transformed from simply purchasing advertisements to platform management and operations, placing greater emphasis on in-house capabilities rather than relying on agency.

Key Goals:

Deign the strategy of online acquisition and overall performance steering.

With professional knowledge in media, affecting the efficiency of cooperation with the media.

Affecting potential cooperation opportunities for the business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy & Buying

· Develop and execute media strategies for Mass Media & Vertical Media Buy.

· Manage media buying and optimize budget allocation for maximum performance.

· Leverage platform-specific ad tools.

Internal & external Collaboration

· Collaborate with internal e.g. MKT, Sales teams to align media plans with Media & Business goals.

· Act as the primary media contact for BMW, distending BMW needs and Co-work with media to explore Media solutions.

Media buy execution on responsible projects.

· Supervise media spot plan well prepared with accuracy.

· Quantitative and qualitative target are well set and achieved.

· Campaigns are monitored on an on-going basis, and necessary adjustments are made if necessary.

· Internal approval process is well followed, and campaigns are on air timely.

Budgets

· Supervise, plan, and control the Media budget and spending.

· Assure that all projects are completed within allocated resourced budget parameters.

· Assure the working process, KPI, evaluation is strict and professional.

Other projects assigned:

· Due to the dynamic change of media situation in China market, this position is required to closely monitor the change of media and provide initiatives to strive for media effectiveness and efficiency.

· Industry Trends & Innovation.

· Stay updated on digital media trends and explore new opportunity to drive business growth.

· Test and optimize new media products to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

· Bachelor or above degree in marketing or business management.

· Good knowledge of automobiles and related premium brand industries.

· Excellent English and Chinese.

· Familiar with performance advertising product, mechanisms and able to better adapt media products to BMW’s needs.

· Having strong media resources and relationships, able to negotiate and communicate with the media through expertise abilities and strive for the highest ROI with the media for the company.

· Willingness to travel.

· Experience in controlling large-scale media budgets, preferred with experience in annual advertising budgets exceeding hundred million to ensure efficiency and sense of data 4-6 years.

· Held supervisory positions with team responsibilities 4-6 years.
