Tasks
Management of parts warehouse operation and ensure timely parts delivery service to the dealers in Mainland China. Taking independent decisions on controlling and managing warehouse service provider to achieve agreed Parts Logistics KPI's as well as budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Service Providers (warehousing & Transportation) in order to achieve contractually as well as internally agreed KPI's
•Manage warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, location maintenance, claims handling and processing,
• Cost center responsibility and budget planning
• Ensuring at any time system availability and functionality of IT hardware as well as correctness of data in system
•Monitoring of agreed stock management KPI's with the German stock management team. Propose improvements to increase FPA and reduction of obsolete stock. (Bookings and stock adjustments) method and implement in daily operations
• Find the opportunity to streamline the warehouse process to improve the productivity
• Find and implement improvements in the supply chain to improve delivery service (transport claims, lead-time). Initiate and implement packaging improvement measures
• Support, plan and implement warehouse projects to further improve delivery service to BMW dealers (e.g. VOR week-end delivery, Increase stock order delivery frequency, DMDC concept, night-drop-off and so on) from dealers
• preparing warehouse reporting
• Other tasks assigned by line managers
Qualifications
University degree
Experience with SAP Systems
English, both oral and written
Negotiation skills
Knowledge of parts business in general
Interpersonal and communications skills
Reliable und flexible
Experience with Microsoft Office Products and general EDP knowledge
Ability to operate self-responsible and independently
Presentation skills and report writing
