The digital method quality management is responsible to manage, initiate and set up the strategy of the digital tools to be applied for quality management of project and life-cycle measures, aimed at the overall digital & IT system to support the quality management both in MC QMT organization, project management, and supply chain. This includes the program from AG, rolling out to MC, also includes the self developed digital method in China, as well as the integration application with BBT-M side.

Major Responsibilities:

• Overall digital @MC QMT strategy and roadmap setup and implementation in M China QMT organization based on the management requirement and business needs.
• responsible for AG IT system roll out, introduction, testing and training for QMPs in MC.
• Drive for local digital tools development for QMP process and system with cooperation with network partners (MC-X) and IT department.
• identification of change request and further digitalization possibility for the QMP processes, manage the customer request and deliver the solid long term solution with new technology application or system optimization.
• prioritize the request and manage the product development backlogs in an overarching view
• implement the change projects or new digital tools under the agile working model (lead the cross function teams, planning of the sprints, etc.)
• Set up and organize the "product board" for digital method topics within M China to make sure the topics communicated, aligned, and discussed in the right circle with right level and through the necessary approval process.
• Develop innovative processes to monitor the overall project maturity by use of predefined criteria. Defining and implementation of key performance indicators as a measurement of the project progress.

Qualifications:

• Education / Degree: Bachler or equivalent with minimum 4 years BMW or equivalent experience within supplier Q managing or project lead function.
• Intense experience in quality methods. Excellent knowledge of QMT-Processes (Product and Process Development & Series Production).
• Experience in terms of quality tools/systems.
• Well-founded knowledge of industrial production processes, sound knowledge of process engineering and Process Development & Series Production).
• Founded and business fluent knowledge in English language, additional knowledge in Chinese or German language is a benefit.
• Intercultural competence, successful acting in intercultural teams.
• High flexibility and mobility, high stress tolerance.
• Sound network in the relevant quality community
• Experience in digitalization projects

Experiences:

• Experience in a technical field at automotive OEM or equivalent in Quality management field production
• Experience in IT department for developing QMP application tools
