The EBE/I Leader is responsible for the Styling-Technic-Converge of the complete vehicle interior/exterior. He/She ensures the achievement of all Project milestone/targets (incl. surface data release / C&T legend / gap plan / master samples) in regards to the visual interior/exterior appearance in the different project stages.
Major Responsibilities
- Availability and release of all interior/exterior surfaces / material and color legend / gap plan / master samples according to the project syncro milestones.
- Preparation of decisions and alternatives in case of deviations against the released surfaces / materials / gaps.
- Responsible for the definition of the design scope (Designstartbrief) and for the project time plan.
- Responsible for the definition of the interior/exterior design evaluation models content (e.g. MRM's & FeasCub1 & FeasCub 2 (FeasCub Freeze)).
- Responsible to achieve the virtuell release according to the synchro milestones for evaluations models (e.g. MRM's & FeasCub1 & FeasCub 2 (FeasCub Freeze)).
Education / Degree:
- Master or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or science
Knowledge / Skills /Competences
- Competence of escalation against the KI, PV, PV-D, EP-x, PL including presentation of possible solutions.
- Decision preparation with the involvement of design, module and function prior to important project milestones.
- Competence to understand complex problems as well as to prioritize topics which will need an escalation in order to resolve them.
- Competence to act on behalf of the organization EP in the interior/exterior "Design-Technic-Converge" against all relevant process partners.
- Competence of how to built class-A surfaces and knowledge about basic aesthetics and forms.
- Competence of leading an interdisciplinary team to a result despite having opposing requirements.
- Competence of being able to build networks within the own department (Fachbereich) and towards the management.
