The AcceleratiON Programme is the BMW Group’s international graduate programme offering the opportunity to jumpstart the career of talented graduates and young professionals. Through completing four different assignments, participants work in various parts of the BMW Group including BMW headquarters in Munich and another international BMW market. During their assignments, participants gain insights into business processes, strategy, culture, and the BMW Group brands from both a local and global perspective. Establishing an excellent international network while working on strategic and operational projects in three different countries, the programme provides a solid basis for a successful international career at the BMW Group.
Major Responsibilities:
- On-job as well as classroom training to get into the purchaisng competency on daily operational level.
- Coordination with BMW AG commodity purchasing and CN local team to define the overall planning for true local supplier development
- Coordination and leading the cloverleaf for local supplier evaluation (SPS/QfQ) as well as follow-up on corresponding action plan.
- Get to know BMW overall organization as well as inter-cultural environment.
- Support commodity purchaser on local sourcing process.
- Support on supplier communication and negotiation.
- Support on regular communication between German and local team.
- QMT training to get into the operational daily business.
- Support on QMT evaluation upon ongoing RfQ(s).
- Support on industrialization scopes with actual activities at/with suppliers, under coaching from expert.
- Get to know overall BMW quality management process in the headquarter.
- Support on actual scopes pending on business situation/demand.
- Build up network in battery enviorment and get faimiliar with critial processes.
