- Creation of a holistic picture of CN specific business requirements (C5, BBA, CIS) for the future process and IT landscape with regards to PPS/domain IPSO (Function, performance, and Service level).

- Derive a future target landscape of central and local systems & processes with regards to Product master data incl. all non-vehicle master data and related systems (incl. all systems from CIS, BFF-4, FG-CN, FG-X)

- Evaluation of Performance and Data Consistency Requirements

- Define link to other local master data related projects, systems, and functions (e.g., SOP, BBA WIT, HOP) and potential integration into 3rd parties (e.g., WeChat, T-Mall)

- Derive & align a common migration plan to rollout PPS in C5

- Develop clear R&R on how to manage and develop PPMD within the whole NSC (Integrated approach)


What awaits you?

-Leads the project and project team from cross different division and entities to achieve the project goals listed in point 1

-Serves as local point of contact and project support with internal stakeholder and users and establish close collaboration model of Business and IT teams in China incl. corresponding teams in Munich.

-Conducts workshops on working level as well as provides regular transfer of results to management, projects and innovation network on findings and perspectives.

-Establishes and facilitates proof of concepts and input from business teams in a structured way to IT tech community and IT analyst.

-Submits proposals for approval into the related committees, both in China (China Customer Circle, China Sales Committee, China Board, BBA BoM) as well as in Central functions when needed with CS-13 (e.g., Circle).

-Intensively align with Sales, Marketing, Product and CIS organization as well as with FSM Project. Ensure usage of developed system is within scope but not limited to explore if needed as well what can be enabled as well out of scope and brings ideas to management.

-Drives the cultural change within the business operation teams for master data and is questioning exiting paradigms.

-Other additional contingent tasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications and experience

-Diploma in Business Administration, IT, or equivalent working experience in automotive for 2-3 years

-Proven ability to undertake planning and delivery of projects managing multiple stakeholders.

-Ability to work under pressure, excellent teamwork skills, excellent ability to communicate.

-Strong initiative and self-motivation to align cross-department efforts, strong self-assertion, and implementation skills.

-Ability to set up a transparent network within and outside BMW Headquarter and IT

-Strong organizational skills, especially time management.

-High level communication skills both verbal and in writing.

-Negotiation-level English and knowledge of German is advantageous.

-Strong presentation skills, able to present results in a professional and high management format.

-4-6 years’ experience in running and working with IT projects with multiple stakeholders

-1-3 years working in automotive industry and master data understanding within an automotive sector

-1-3 years project development and implementation.
