1). Dealers Management for AFS in assigned territory

2). Consulting with dealers on methods and plans to permit the maximization of business potential of BMW parts, accessories and lifestyle products.

3). Act as the brand ambassador of BMW and responsible for overall Aftersales performance in the dealership

4). Regularly communicate with relevant Area Manager Sales, who is the overall main interface of the dealerships.

  • Act on behalf of BMW Brilliance and BMW China Aftersales, taking overall leading responsibilities to be the main contact person for responsible dealerships for Aftersales.
  • Regularly communicate with relevant Area Manager Sales, who is the overall main interface of the dealerships.
  • Coach and Assist dealership regarding Aftersales
  • Assist dealers to establish parts budget plan, which reflect BMW’s business plans.
  • Coaching dealers to develop action plan and ensure that it is carried out in accordance with BMW guideline in agreed schedule
  • Monitor the dealers’ staff to identify training requirements. Ensure training is planned and undertaken in accordance with BMW guidelines and that any special needs are advised to BMW China
  • Review with dealers monthly quantitative & qualitative performance reports on Parts, Accessories and Lifestyle targets and operating standards.
  • Have regular dealers’ visit and ensure dealers in the achievement of Parts, Accessories and Lifestyle purchasing target
  • AS business operation related projects steering & implementation at the dealership
  • Have on-site inspection for parts claim
  • Dealer regular AS retail standard check
  • Controls regularly with dealers to determine operating deficiencies and recommend corrective measures. Ensure dealers maintain adequate stock by line items and range. Ensure that each dealer is prepared, and can adequately support each new model introduction
  • Steering the aftersales marketing plan and event quality checks
  • Delegate of BMW Genuine Parts, supporting on anti-fake parts activities
  • Dealer AS related personnel management (e.g. assessment, verification)

Qualifications and experience

  • university degree preferred, experience / personality can compensate educational degree
  • Sufficient area management / sales experience
  • Fluent Chinese and English, both in written and oral
  • Extensive knowledge of market and service structure in the Chinese vehicle environment.
  • A sound understanding of dealer’s aftersales activities is required, together with the ability to interpret data on parts business, and to analyses requirements
  • Ability to present ideas, concept and approaches to dealers
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate with dealers, to express and explain BMW policies and objectives
  • Ability to find quick pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to plan strategically
  • Work under pressure
  • Willing to travel
  • Area AFS experience in automotive industry. Dealer overall quality management / improvement is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in understanding the dealership business operation, retail environment, sales planning and operations processes.
  • Proven effectiveness in leading /coaching teams.
