JOB PURPOSE:
This role is responsible for both in-market and pipeline products/indications of CVT&DB regarding:
- Define optimal integrated market access strategy with tactics plans
- Develop tailored local pricing strategy in collaboration with cross-functional glocal partners
- Developing impactful value proposition & communication tools based on payers & patients’ needs
This role will act as the point of contact for local BUs, global V&A sub-teams and/or global expert functions, focusing on the specific products; and lead the local value access platform with the collaboration from cross-functional teams including but not limited to, HEOR, public affairs, BUs, Medical and Commercial, Quality, and IP.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work out holistic product life-cycle market access & pricing strategy aligned with clinical evidence, patient needs and commercial ambition based on the insights and anticipant market access evolvement
- Insightful on responsible TA to generate in-line and pipline product pricing assumptions
- Lead the development and ensure timely delivery of the compelling payer value propositions, payer & innovative access dossiers and toolkits for responsible TA products by performing gap analyses, working out tactics plan, and driving co-creation with the BU, Medcial, PA and Policy team
- Maintain stronge partnership with local cross-functions and GMAx to maximize value offering to payers and secure alignment on pricing strategy, value proposition and decisions
- Coordinate Market Access scenario building incl. risk assessment, & involvement in business forecasting
- Responsible for LCM on responsible TA/products to contribute to early development/launch discussion
- Lead cross-functional colleagues on V&A related activities by project lead, work streams follow-up, vendor management etc…
JOB-HOLDER REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Public health, medical, health economics, or other related scientific background
- Minimum master degree in medical, pharmacy, public health, health economics or related areas, PhD in such areas is preferred
Experience & knowledge & Competencies:
- At least 3 years of working experience in pharmaceutical or medical area
- Good knowledge of China health care system and Market access trends, capability of policy analysis as a plus
- Strong ownership, self-motivated with can-do attitude
- Strategic thinking, stretching and agile, and project management
- Good teamwork spirit & collaborative approach including how to be successful in a matrix environment with excellent communication skills
- Problem solving and conflict management skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to details
- Good command of both written and oral English and Mandarin
