About the Job:

Ensure that the Vision, business strategy (Play to Win) and People & Culture Strategy are cascaded among the teams and concretely translated in the people programs and process. Drive the people strategy in order to highly contribute to the execution of the Greater China P&C strategy.

Main responsibilities:

People Strategy Bring to life the people agenda by advising, coaching and influencing business leadership team

  • Contribute to the SWP for GBU/GF by providing business view. Provide inputs and review local hiring plans

Project Management and Delivery - Work on GBU/GF People priorities in country determined by GBU/GF HR Leadership

  • Coordinate and manage the in-country projects to overcome people challenges or build capability (aligned to GBU and GF)
  • Coordinate and manage business/organization changes in country (e.g., mergers, divestiture, NBM) in conjunction with other GBU/GF People Business Partners

Talent Acquisition – Support the hiring up to L4

Talent Management – Drive the talent agenda with local business leaders, establishing talent reviews and quality succession plans for roles up to and including L4

People Manager Development – Hold managers accountable to lead and develop their people – through key development activities and use of online tools

Insights – Leverage local people insights to drive local initiatives/projects and to provide voice of customer for any global initiatives

Culture and DEI – Promote Sanofi DEI and culture through in country initiatives (bringing to life and contributing legal and local culture lens)

About you

1. Language

  • English / Chinese: fluent in both oral and written

2.Education

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree

3.Experience & knowledge:

  • Experienced in interpretating business strategy into people agenda and drive to make it happen.
  • Good coaching and facilitating skills.
  • Solid in HR overall knowledge including C&B, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee engagement, change management.
  • Solid knowledge in talent management, can build on the talent solution to support employee develop and thrive within Sanofi.

  • Good communication and influencing skills, can work within/cross functions to implement people agenda in supporting business goal
