This is a position with high visibility and exposure to senior management in China and GBU. The candidate needs to be mature, experienced and flexible enough to take multi-roles as strong individual contributor, project owner, cross-functional joint team leader, business partner and effective communicator. This position is also considered as incubator of potential talent for various BU or function roles in Sanofi China and Global as long as proven performance and experienced demonstrated over certain period of time

Main responsibilities:

  • Support China Management Team to frame and articulate strategic choices for China affiliate, provide strategic recommendations with detailed contents through in-depth analysis, internal and external studies, etc. Support management team with strategic decision making process
  • Work closely with commercial and functional teams on major strategic topics, support GBU and function Strategy shaping, provide inputs to the strategy plan
  • Facilitate and participate China corporate strategy and business reviews as Strategy partner
  • Translate Corporate strategy into actionable implementation plan, lead effective execution of the strategy to drive real business impact
  • Proactively challenge status quo and act for changes, leading strategic transformations as source of innovations
  • Coordinate cross functional strategic initiatives, engage and manage senior internal and external key stakeholders to achieve alignment across the board
  • Collaborate transversally with GBU S&BD team and other global functions on different strategy topics
  • Communicate and present Strategic topics to GBU and China management team

About you

  • Language skills:

  • Strong communication skills in presenting and communicating strategic topics with senior management in English and Chinese; be able to effectively influence senior leaders

Core competencies:

Good business sense and business understanding, strong strategic thinking A team worker, but can also play people manager role, willing to share, support and coach junior team members Strong commitment and self-driven

Experience & knowledge:

Post-B.A. with 3+ years working experience in a consulting firm or/and corporate strategy related functions Rich experiences in healthcare, preferably pharmaceuticals Proven experiences and well trained skills in project management, PMO, financial modelling, PPT presentations (to management team)

Education:

Bachelor or above, MBA / PH.D a plus
