About the job

JOB PURPOSE:

The candidate is accountable for all trade marketing investment and activities for all Opella brands Setting channel strategies (for Ecom and Retail ( including O2O)), building promotions/activations plan, manage Trade BI, fully support commercial team to achieve target while building brands based on brand strategies. Not only providing plan but importantly influence commercial team to improve our ways of working to outperform market.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This role would give the candidate opportunity to lead by channel product / pricing mix, business building blocks, activation plans and budget efficiency management etc. to act as powerhouse to drive business targets and strategies implementation within guidelines.

The team will cover channel/trade marketing team by brand, and customer marketing for activation landing & cross brand engagement. 

The candidate would be highly regarded as key role in whole organization. The candidate will also provide broader experiences to perform and nurture commercial acumen to grow business.

1. Lead channel strategy landing by brand.

1) brand trade marketing by channel implementation

2) customer marketing while cross-functionally work with commercial/marketing to outperform market in the industry.

  • Lead to build all Brand channel Strategy and GTM excellence
  • Lead to build portfolio and price strategy working with commercial director, to improve over all Opella China business profibility,ensure implementation to protect brand across channel eco-system.
  • Drive brand by channel implementation and building block based on key business drivers
  • Based on commercial target, lead to set KPIs, plan promotions/activations, prepare negotiating materials, track status of negotiation and evaluate to find learnings to adapt to next actions based on strategies.
  • Lead to provide required assets to commercial team while working with brand team
  • Manage Trade BI budget which can be firmly linked with ATL investment to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
  • Track KPIs, share key success factors with commercial and marketing team to improve our performance
  • Establish better way of working in Trade marketing to improve performance continuously
  • Set Objectives, Plan, Execute, Track/Review, Adapt key learnings to next actions

2. Build required capabilities in the team to realize sustainable growth in long-term via trainings, new recruitments, routine meetings and team expansion plan.

  • Support Opella EC 3.0 model building (with knowhow of D2C,B2C, B2B, OTC and social commerce)
  • Support Retail establish channel management matrix and new channel capability building
  • Elevate team capability with size expansion and support business ambition (2025 120M, 2029 300M) . Install his/her expertise to the team to realize more effective and efficient promotions while building stronger team including new recruitments, capability building and organization plan
  • Embedded with brand plan activation and drive ROI improvement with cross team collaboration
  • Provide channel insights, custom level opportunity or new emerging channel dynamic to help China CHC with additional business growth opportunities

About You

  • With excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid experience of online TMKT management, experience on EC channel TMKT management will be preferred.
  • High influencer and ability to prioritize effectively / excellent business acumen & understanding
  • High level in organizing with strong business strategical thinking.
  • Self-motivated with drive, passion and high integrity; unlimited ambition is welcome!
  • Outgoing and open-minded.
  • Be efficient and pleasant in working through others.
  • Results-oriented and desiring for personal growth and achievement
  • Fast learner and committed to excellence
  • University / College degree
  • Good understanding of e-commerce landscape in China

Education:

  • University / College degree or above

Experience & knowledge:

  •  Prefer more than 8 years Solid experience of business strategy or TMKT or sales management
