JOB PURPOSE:

To drive best-in-class patient experience, foster Sanofi unique value proposition to patients and ecosystem key stakeholders.

Understanding of our patients, customers, stakeholders and partners will be key – especially understanding the patient affair and pharma industry and ecosystem, and how partnership, patient service and access strategy and initiatives can support patients achieving their health outcome goals.

The role will internally interface with SC cross-functional team and externally with ecosystem key stakeholders to build best-in-class patient experience.

Compliances standards must be upheld to industry and Sanofi standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Leadership

  • Ensure BU/TA stakeholder understanding of the patient affair & diagnostics initiatives
  • Act as Internal patient advocate in responsible TAs and lead the formulation of the patient strategy in responsible TAs
  • Innovative and Strategic design and lead in the implementation on the future way of working

Partnerships

  • Establish win-win MSA/PAG/Vendor partnership to deliver on prioritized initiatives
  • Contribute to Sanofi China SC Patient Affair ecosystem setup

Service and Access

  • TA Patient Affair strategy: TA Patient Ecosystem significant contributor, if not lead, as medical representative working closely with other business functions
  • TA local communication up to GCLT(very intensive); TA GLOCAL communication(very intensive)
  • Patient Affair pilot initiatives (specific TA as pilot and shall be applicable for all TAs) to drive cross-functional alignment and execution
  • Patient Support Program (PSP) Continuous Improvement: Opportunity Identification and Enhancement Planning

Ensure the high-quality delivery and consistency with Sanofi compliance standard

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:                         

MD, and other scientific degree with business, consulting, marketing and sales experience as a strong plus

Experience & knowledge:  

  • Business consulting and marketing experience as a strong plus
  • 8+ years in the Medical industry and deep understanding on patient unmet needs
  • 5+ years experience as project leader or oversight experience - in matrix organization
  • Extensive patient program management experience is strongly desired
  • Affiliate/operational experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering patient-centric solutions that improved access to therapy; experience piloting new patient support digital capabilities is an asset
  • Experience managing programs across various stages of the product lifecycle (e.g. new product launches, new public and private reimbursement coverage, and loss of exclusivity)
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational efficiency and effectiveness initiatives that improved patient access to therapy
