Overview

The Data & AI Engineer role focuses on developing scalable data and AI solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical implementations that meet business requirements. This position is essential for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our analytical capabilities and AI-driven commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve scalable data/AI solution components, including LLM prompts, analytics functions, and data pipelines

• Design, build, and optimize data architectures to support business intelligence and machine learning applications

• Support change management processes, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure end-to-end solution quality

• Create comprehensive documentation for solutions and deliver structured results that meet technical and business requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly Data Scientists and Business Analysts, to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

• Implement and maintain data security and governance standards across all solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field; advanced degree is a plus

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (Golang skills are a plus)

• Experience with Git workflow and version control best practices

• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design principles

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services

• Experience with AI/LLM/chatbot project development preferred

• Experience with data orchestration tools and workflow management systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Outstanding teamwork abilities and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and willingness to learn new technologies
