Finance Specialist - VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.  

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

As Finance Specialist VIE within our Finance team you’ll be involved in cooperation with CFO China, Corporate Finance BD, Finance Business Partners, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Strategy & BD team, Legal, R&D, M&S and other stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

• Support new growth opportunities exploration through Business Development (BD), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) as well as potential divestitures / out licensing deals (simplification).
• Build reliable Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Valuations & Deal Structuring: forecast modelling (Positively challenge business assumptions…).
• Financial impacts’ analysis (Net Present value - NPV share, Return on invested capital -ROIC, Internal Rate of Return - IRR, Payback, etc…).
• Accounting treatment in relation with corporate consolidation / accounting team (revenue recognition, milestones treatment…).
• Ensure sanity checks, build sensitivity analysis, build pricing modelling, ensure recommendation aligned with international flows department.

About you

Experience:

• At least 2 years' professional full-time experience relevant to the position, done after the date of obtaining minimum required diploma (excluding internships and work-study programs).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business school, with specialization or strong interest in finance.

Technical and soft skills:

• Business minded finance professional with transversal approach.
• Flexible and able to quickly adapt to various situations.
• Excellent analytical and synthetic skills, ability to step back and see the “big picture”.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• "Hands-on" and challenging mindset.
• Positive thinking, solution-orientation, showing initiatives to learn.

Languages:

• Fluent in English, knowledge of Mandarin is highly preferred.
