About the role:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ø Independent contributor with capability and responsibility in development of protocol designs, clinical plans, and statistical analysis plans in collaboration with project teams.
Ø Full responsibility in the establishment of a reporting database and ensure that the data analyses are appropriate and accurate with good quality.
Ø Ensure the accuracy of the analysis results interpretation and high quality of deliverables.
Ø Scientific and clinical knowledge relevant to disease area related to products in the ongoing projects.
Ø Lead and develop less-experienced statisticians and effectively mentor non-statistical peers .
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master or PhD in Statistics or a related field
Experience & knowledge:
Ø 4+ years (PhD) or 5+ years (Master) of solid pharmaceutical or related industry experience with clinical trials
Ø Experience of leading teams and develop people
Core competencies:
Ø Extended understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
Ø Extensive ability to apply advanced technique to solve real world problems.
Ø Sufficient SAS programming skill and capability to use other statistical software for simulation and sample size calculation
Ø Highly effective oral and written communication skills
