Job Summary

Provide leadership and support on all statistical matters to fulfill both local and global tasks according to the global project strategies in China

Major Duties and Responsibilities

·         Assist the TA/regional lead to manage statistical resources and ensure effective resource utilization and timely and high-quality deliverables

·         Ensure productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned project team and with other statistics project leaders and in communicating with senior leadership.

·         Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.

·         Promote teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.

·         Represents statistics in regulatory meetings

·         Contribute/lead to operation process optimization and provide inputs to statistics standards

Required Education/Experience:

·         PhD/MS in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field

·         10+ year experience as clinical statistician in global pharmaceutical company

·         Demonstrated strong project/study management, interpersonal and communication skill

·         Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques

·         Broad experience in clinical development or post-marketing activities such a submissions, interactions with regulatory agencies or other external stakeholders

·         Knowledge of regulatory requirements in China and Asia Pacific

·         Experience in the relevant therapeutic area desired

·         Experience to represent Sanofi in cross-company activities such a consortiums or professional associations
