As part of our continued commitment to digital excellence and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a Technical Expert to join our China Digital team, supporting business-critical applications used across the pharmaceutical lifecycle—including event management, contract workflows, CRM, and compliance systems.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and compliance of these platforms. You will leverage company-approved automation and AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot Enterprise and internally governed RPA frameworks) to streamline support processes and proactively improve system reliability. Working within a highly regulated, globally integrated environment, you will collaborate closely with both local and global IT teams to deliver high-quality, audit-ready technical support. Main responsibilities:
Provide technical support for core business systems, with a focus on HCP engagement platforms such as event management and speaker management solutions.
Continuously enhance product operations by leveraging self-service capabilities, automation, and AI technologies to drive efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including pharmacovigilance and audit standards, throughout all operational processes.
Conduct daily system monitoring, issue analysis, and performance tuning to maintain system stability and quality. Collaborate closely with product teams to enhance product quality, foster communication, and improve user experience.
Align with global teams on standard tools, processes, and compliance frameworks to ensure consistency and best practices.
Develop and maintain automation and data verification scripts (e.g., Python, Bash), ensuring proper documentation for knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Provide development support to product teams as needed, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions.
You are a technical service expert dedicated to collaborating with team members to facilitate the implementation of new features and drive product optimization. Provide technical support for the smooth application of new features by expanding functions for existing services or deploying new services. Proactively identify and assist in troubleshooting technical issues affecting users in one of the many regions worldwide to ensure user experience. Work hand in hand with the product team to participate in discussions and design sessions for new product requirements, ensuring that technical services align with product plans.
About you:
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise-level system operations, with hands-on expertise in areas such as Event Management, CRM, Electronic Signature Systems, Business Process Management, and WeChat/WeCom integration.
Proven experience working in agile and DevOps environments, collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to enhance product quality through effective support and continuous improvement.
Experience in global, cross-functional collaboration across multiple time zones is highly desirable.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is preferred.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical business scenarios and compliance requirements, including pharmacovigilance, is a strong advantage.
Preferred technical experience includes:
o ServiceNow administration and configuration
o DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
o Scripting languages (Python, Bash)
o Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
o Cloud-based Linux/Windows system administration
o Database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
o Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
o Network infrastructure and security
Soft skills:
Strong sense of responsibility and compliance awareness, with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and drive project execution.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, think systematically, and balance diverse stakeholder needs to reach consensus—especially in AI-related initiatives.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese:
o Fluent in English reading and writing, with basic verbal communication skills for meetings
o Strong Chinese written and verbal communication skills
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, English, or a related field.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Professional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus
