The Global Alliance Management function is a strategic discipline that focuses on establishing, managing, and optimizing partnerships and collaborations with external entities. These alliances can include partnerships with other companies, academic institutions, research organizations and they are handed over by the business development teams. The primary goal of this function is to leverage the strengths and resources of each partner to achieve mutual benefits and drive innovation while maximizing value creation and minimizing risks for Sanofi.

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing complex alliances, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, and driving mutual success. You will be the interface with several Alliance partners, to ensure coordination at local and global level, and value creation by the different functional experts and operational units, both within Sanofi and with the Alliance partners. You will be responsible for all activities required to ensure effective management of a portfolio consisting of R&D and China alliances, licenses that continue to have Sanofi and/or partner contractual obligations, as well as future alliances as may be assigned, including but not limited to:
About you
You have a Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences, MBA, or equivalent degree with a strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You also have in-depth understanding of the drug development process and life cycle management, including research and early development. An alliance management experience is a plus.
You have strong negotiation and forward-looking mindset with deal-making abilities, you are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You have proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams, with strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. You have an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
