ROLE PURPOSE

The Central Market Access (CMA) Head leads the national-level access execution across all portfolios.

This role serves as the central orchestrator of central access stakeholder coordination, national negotiation readiness, national policy interpretation, and execution governance.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. National Access Strategy Execution

  • Coordinate cross-portfolio preparation for NRDL/NEDL/VBP, ensuring alignment of pricing logic, evidence packages, and negotiation scenarios.

  • Translate strategic direction from PAMA head into coordinated execution plans

  • Maintain national-level planning calendar and cross-functional governance for access milestones.

 

2. Central Access Stakeholder Engagement (Execution & Coordination)

  • Support high-level relationship management with NHSA, NHC, NFRA, national think tanks, and healthcare policy institutions.

  • Ensure consistent messaging, consolidated company positions, and coordinated engagement across business units.

  • Maintain national policy mapping and cross-functional communication channels.

 

3. Capability Building & Talent Development

  • Mentor and develop future leaders in national-level MA.

  • Build China-wide capability programs for negotiation readiness, policy interpretation, and payer communication.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 12–15+ years in market access, pricing, policy, or central government affairs.

  • Proven experience coordinating NRDL or national-level access processes.

  • Strong track record in cross-functional leadership and execution governance.

Capabilities

  • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Highly proficient in cross-BU coordination, consensus building, and execution management.

  • Solid business judgment with ability to navigate complex policy environments.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
