POSITION OVERVIEW

The Patient Engagement Lead is responsible for executing and implementing patient engagement strategies for assigned therapeutic area. This role drives operational excellence in patient engagement initiatives, collaborates cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of patient-centric programs, and contributes to the overall patient engagement framework while leading specific workstreams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Execution & Governance

• Implement the Sanofi China Unified Patient Engagement Framework within assigned area, ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Apply standards, KPIs, and compliance guardrails for assigned initiatives

• Monitor performance metrics and generate insights to improve patient engagement effectiveness

• Ensure alignment between therapeutic area priorities and overall patient engagement strategy within ethical boundaries

Platform & Shared Services

• Lead specific aspects of the related Digital Platform implementation

• Manage the deployment of standardized and compliant Access Solutions Toolkit components

• Drive adoption of shared services across business units with appropriate safeguards and controls

External Ecosystem & TA Tailored Patient Engagement

• Lead and cultivate transparent and compliant strategic external partnerships

• Implement compliant patient segmentation strategies for assigned therapeutic area to increase disease awareness

• Design and optimize multichannel patient journeys with clear separation from activities

 

Capability Building & Enablement

• Develop practical tools and resources for patient engagement

• Deliver training to cross-functional teams on patient engagement best practices

• Document and share successful approaches and learnings

• Provide subject matter expertise to support capability development

KEY REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in healthcare, business, marketing, or related field

 

Experience & knowledge & Competencies:

·       7+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare/MNC industry experience with focus on patient engagement, advocacy, and digital health initiatives

·       Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration

·       Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and verbal)

·       Demonstrated success in implementing patient-centric initiatives

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Effective stakeholder management and influencing abilities

·       Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
