Strategy Implementation
-Have a good understanding of the local market's healthcare system and infrastructure, and what needs to be developed to support the care and management of RD patients
-Identifies appropriate external stakeholders and understands their objectives in order to partner effectively with them to build a sustainable platform to screen, diagnose, treat and care for RD patients
-Develops tactical plans for all current and future RD products, including recommendation of relevant promotional materials and campaigns
-Plans and implements local activities such as congresses, symposia, etc., according to the strategic business plan
-Proactively finds new opportunities to expand the business:
-Disease awareness program to doctors / medical community and general public, government & non-Government institutions
-Patient identification campaigns
-Actively follow up of each of them to ensure appropriate treatmentAchieve sales, screening and patient targets
-Achieve assigned sales, screening and patient target for the financial year
-Execution of assigned product strategies
-Coordinate and provide support to the sales & marketing activities
-Identify, maintain and develop local KOLs for execution of advocacy programs
-Build physician database and increase disease awareness of these customers leading to early diagnosis of new patients
-Support Patients Advocacy function to execute patient group driven activities specifically to increase public awareness on RD.
-Build and maintain good professional relationship with patients with their welfare in mind
-Liaison with hospital pharmacists to monitor and coordinate stocks balance and timely delivery to hospitals
-Assist in objectives setting for products on the annual and long range plans
-Adherence to Pharma industry code of conduct, ethics and sales practices.
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
-Minimum bachelor degree
-Major in medical science
-Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Experience & knowledge:
-Proven track record in Sales & Marketing experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
-Medical background and/or experience (e.g. MD, MSL, Pharmacist)
-Creative marketing and willing to embrace changes
-Proactive, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
-Min. 3 years sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry
-Experience in dealing with niche biopharmaceutical or specialty products
